Karine Lubin: About Therapy

How long is each session?

Every therapy session is 50 minutes

How do I schedule an appointment?

I personally handle all of my scheduling. Please contact me to schedule an appointment. For new clients, once you request an appointment, you will receive an email with consent forms and intake questionnaires to complete prior to your appointment. I will need to speak to the parent or legal guardian of all minor children in regard to scheduling a session.

What is your session fee? Do you take insurance?

My session fee is $150 per session.

I am currently working on being credentialed to be in-network with United Health Care (Optum), Aetna, and Cigna.

I can also provide a diagnostic receipt (Superbill) for out-of-network billing upon request.

How do I pay for sessions?

I accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, checks, and HSA cards.

What type of therapy do you do?

I utilize a holistic approach with all individuals I work with. However, depending on the needs of my clients I incorporate other theory-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR.
