I am Karine Champagne, MSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, & Qualified CSW Supervisor. I Graduated from Oakwood University with a bachelor's in social work and Alabama A&M with a master's in social work. In addition, I have been in the counseling field for the past 15 years.
I am a licensed professional counselor that specializes in the areas of trauma and managing mental health with chronic illness. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Mental health advocate, I believe in supporting mental wellbeing holistically for each individual.
I provide therapeutic support on the following: creating optimal mental health, life transition, dealing with chronic health issues, grief & loss, depression, anxiety, and relational issues. I would love to support you on your wellbeing journey.
How long is each session?
Every therapy session is 50 minutes
How do I schedule an appointment?
I personally handle all of my scheduling. Please contact me to schedule an appointment. For new clients, once you request an appointment, you will receive an email with consent forms and intake questionnaires to complete prior to your appointment. I will need to speak to the parent or legal guardian of all minor children in regard to scheduling a session.
What is your session fee? Do you take insurance?
My session fee is $150 per session.
I am currently working on being credentialed to be in-network with United Health Care (Optum), Aetna, and Cigna.
I can also provide a diagnostic receipt (Superbill) for out-of-network billing upon request.
How do I pay for sessions?
I accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, checks, and HSA cards.
What type of therapy do you do?
I utilize a holistic approach with all individuals I work with. However, depending on the needs of my clients I incorporate other theory-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR.
